We went to dinner, and then went and picked up our friend. We then, made our way to BYU to go bowling. Which was way fun!! I came in second. Institute last with our friend at first. I was only two points away from beating him I might add. Anyway, we finished bowling and they weren't quite ready to leave yet. So, we stayed for a while longer and played some billiards. I am awful at that. BTW.
We finished playing, and then we decided we'd come back to my house and make shakes and watch I Am Number Four. We got back, and then another one of his friends texted him and invited all of us to Cold Stone for ice cream; and then games in the park afterwards.
We did that. :)
While at the park, my toenail got ripped off, so I quit playing the game they were playing and laid on my back to look at the stars. Well, my 'Date' came and laid beside me. I could tell he felt really bad about my toe. We got talking about life and everything; and then he looks at me very seriously and says "Sara, do you believe in pre-marital interdigitation?"
Well, you can probably guess what I did. I burst out laughing. And then said: 'Yes, I do.'
I continued laughing for a few seconds and then I sat up and said 'Who can I ask that to?'
He said "Ask XXXX."
So, I yelled across the whole playground "XXXXX, Do you believe....etc."
He yelled back "Why yes I do!"
Me-"You do know what it means right?"
Him-"Yes! Of course I believe in holding hands before marriage!"
My 'Date'-"Good! Because, Sara and I do it all the time!"
He then put his hand up for me to hold. So, I did. I didn't know what else to do.
Then when he went to drop me off, we're walking up to my house and he says, "Sara, has anyone tried to kiss you on a first date?"
Now, what on earth would you be thinking?! I know I was silently freaking out. "Um, No, why?"
Him-"Just wondering, I had someone try to kiss me on a first date once and it got really awkward."
Me-*in my mind* 'Why are you bringing this up?!'
He gives me a hug, and stands there for a few seconds and then goes back to his car. I could tell he didn't want to leave. But, our friend was sitting in the front seat. But, I am so confused. Is he trying to tell me something? Or am I reading into something that really isn't there? I really do not know. But, I'd like to.
